Biology Project Specialists

Position Summary:

This position requires a proactive and self-driven person with strong professional background in biotechnology, excellent communication skills, basic business knowledge, and marketing skills. This position needs to deal with front-line customers, be able to solve customer needs and provide professional technical support for customers.

Position Responsibilities

• Take the initiative to establish a lasting relationship with the customer organization, determine the product market fit among the identified customers, provide creative consulting technical solutions, and take the initiative to follow up to ensure that all requirements are met in a timely manner.
• Use customer-relationship management platform to manage a series of new business partnerships.
• Be good at exploring and creatively identifying new sales opportunities - actively manage customer channels and regularly communicate with the chief business officer on progress.
• Be responsible for the implementation of various projects according to the marketing plan, including project implementation planning, activity coordination, personnel and material arrangement, etc.
• Participate in new project planning and put forward planning ideas and plans according to marketing strategies.
• Coordinate relevant departments, and do a good job in cross-department communication and coordination.
• Other tasks as assigned by the management

Education and Technical Skill Requirements

• Ph.D. degree in molecular biology, pharmacology, medicine, cell biology, biochemistry and pharmacy.
• Demonstrate a broad understanding of cellular and molecular biology. Preferably with an experimental background that involving recombinant protein expression field.
• Good technical knowledge of gene editing, genomics, and proteomics.
• Strong scientific knowledge and the ability to speak fluently about biological sciences, as well as experience in selling advanced technology solutions, especially in early drug discovery and cell-based analysis.
• In-depth understanding and development of biotechnology.
• Good communication and presentation skills
