Fluorescent labeling can facilitate the study of target protein expression, cell localization, interaction, active state and other indicators. Materials that can be used as fluorescent markers include but are not limited to: autofluorescent protein, small molecule fluorescent dye, nanocrystalline material (i.e. quantum dot material), small molecule protein label. 

Creative BioMart has established a unique protein labeling platform, which can realize the binding of target protein/antibody with a variety of labels. You only need to provide us with the protein or antibody you are interested in, and we will use our efficient labeling scheme to customize the binding to dyes.

For each peptide/protein/antibody that needs to be labeled, our technicians will strictly evaluate its physicochemical properties, such as peptide labeling, linker length, type and crosslinking position. The fluorescent dye labeling services provided by Creative BioMart include 

• Conventional dye labeling

Dye and time cost: FITC and RB200 (1-2 weeks), Cy3, 5, 7, 5.5  (3-4 weeks)

• iFluor series dye labeling

iFluor dyes have excellent water solubility. Their hydrophilicity minimizes the use of organic solvents. Compared with conventional dyes, iFluor dyes have better labeling properties.

• ATTO series dye labeling

Five categories more than Alexa dyes, ATTO can be used to label some biomacromolecules which cannot be labeled by fluorescent dyes. ATTO dyes are usually the derivatives of coumarins, rhodamine, and azines. Compared with the dyes which are used for a long time and have a wide range of applications, ATTO dyes are more stable under long-term irradiation.
