Scientist, Senior Research Fellow

Position Summary:

We need a person with innovative thinking, rich experimental experience in the field of protein expression, proficiency in deep knowledge reserve in the field of life science. This position needs to be responsible for the design, implementation, interpretation and display of the experimental project, and be able to innovate and explore new possibilities in the experimental project.

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for proteomics analysis, protein expression scheme design, implementation, interpretation and display of the experimental project
• Peptide sequence analysis and optimization program development, expression conditions exploration and purification process development
• Development of microbial fermentation technology and large-scale expression and purification technology
• Identify and build partnerships with leading scholars and start-ups on cutting-edge technology concepts.
• Guide and provide practical support to complete the evaluation of the proof of concept experiment
• Establish infrastructure to develop all necessary products and services for recombinant protein and peptide expression, culture media and testing technologies and transfer them to operations.
• Define methods and processes, and build high-performance teams to execute development projects.
• Daily maintenance of laboratory environment, management and maintenance of laboratory reagents, instruments and equipment
• Other tasks as assigned by the management

Education and Technical Skill Requirements

• Ph. D. in molecular biology, cell biology, stem cell biology, biomedical engineering or other fields closely related to the experience of complex protein expression systems.
• Have rich experience in hands-on experiments, master the technology needed for experiment and technology development, and operate relevant experimental equipment skillfully and regularly.
• Good at solving problems, with the ability to flexibly design or adjust the experimental scheme according to the specific situation.
• Excellent learning ability and enthusiasm for self-improvement.
• Careful, patient, earnest, self-motivated, team spirit. Abide by the laboratory rules, no illegal operation, no safety accidents
• Working experience in challenging environment, good oral and written communication skills.
