S.elongatus has small genomes, thus easy to be genetically manipulated by natural transformation. To improve cell productivity and purifiability, Creative BioMart has developed an enhanced expression vector for the constitutive expression in the system.
We use psbA1 to stably and efficiently start the synthesis of foreign protein. The vector has flexible polyclonal sites. In order to facilitate the detection and purification of the protein, the N-terminal and C-terminal of the vector are labeled respectively.
