Description

DMEM/F-12 is a 1:1 mixture of DMEM and Ham's F-12, widely used to support the growth of various mammalian cells under low serum conditions. It is suitable for MDCK cells, glial cells, fibroblasts, human endothelial cells, and rat fibroblasts. DMEM provides elevated levels of amino acids and vitamins, while Ham's F-12 contributes increased concentrations of choline, inositol, putrescine, and selected amino acids, making this medium ideal for a range of cell types.
This product is prepared using Water for Injection (WFI).
