Description
Ham's F-12K Nutrient Mixture (Kaighn's Modification) is a modified formulation of Ham’s F-12 medium, specifically developed for the culture of primary human hepatocytes and certain rat and chicken liver cells under reduced-serum conditions. This medium contains putrescine, thymidine, hypoxanthine, zinc, elevated concentrations of all amino acids, and sodium pyruvate, which support the growth of specific cell types in low-serum environments.
However, when used under reduced-serum conditions, it is essential to optimize the serum concentration for each individual cell line.
This product is prepared using Water for Injection (WFI).
