Description
IMDM is a nutrient-rich synthetic medium designed for the rapid proliferation of high-density cell cultures. It is ideal for Jurkat, COS-7, macrophages, and other fast-growing cells. Compared to DMEM, it includes additional amino acids, vitamins, selenium, HEPES buffer, and substitutes potassium nitrate for ferric nitrate. It does not contain α-thioglycerol or 2-mercaptoethanol; supplementation with albumin, transferrin, or insulin may be required for specific cell types.
This product is prepared using Water for Injection (WFI).
