Description
Derived from Eagle's Basal Medium (BME), MEM is a widely used medium for both adherent and suspension cultures of mammalian cells such as HeLa, BHK-21, 293, HEP-2, HT-1080, MCF-7, fibroblasts, and primary rat astrocytes. It provides essential nutrients required for consistent cell growth and proliferation.
This product is Temin’s modified formulation of MEM, presented at a 2× concentration. In this version, the levels of vitamins and amino acids are increased to four times those found in standard MEM, supporting enhanced cell growth and viability.
This product is prepared using Water for Injection (WFI).
