Description
Minimum Essential Medium (MEM) α is widely used for the cultivation of mammalian cells and for the selection of DHFR-negative cells in transfection applications. Derived from Eagle's Basal Medium (BME), MEM α supports the growth of various suspension and adherent mammalian cell types, including keratinocytes, primary rat astrocytes, and human melanoma cells.
This product is prepared using Water for Injection (WFI).
