Description
Minimum Essential Medium (MEM) α is a nutritionally enriched minimal essential medium that contains all 20 naturally occurring amino acids, including L-glutamine, as well as 10 essential vitamins. Developed as a modification of Eagle’s Basal Medium (BME), MEM features higher concentrations of amino acids to support cell growth. When supplemented with serum, MEM is suitable for the cultivation of a wide variety of adherent cell types, including fibroblasts.
This product is prepared using Water for Injection (WFI).
